Overview

This month, theaters across the U.S. screened the award-winning documentary Navalny. The film, which is scheduled to be available on streaming services later this month, follows Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s own investigation into his poisoning by the Novichok nerve agent in August 2020. We will talk to two of Navalny’s closest comrades-in-arms, Maria Pevchikh and Leonid Volkov, who took part in the investigation, about Alexei Navalny, the making of the film, and the new projects that Navalny’s team is taking on in the midst of Putin’s assault on Ukraine.

Please note this will not include a screening of the film.
